Specifics: A character with this feat can summon a familiar.
  • The familiar will add a bonus to a skill and may translate a language. Please check the Familiar page for more details.
  • -associate command allows player to speak through their familiar without possessing it.
  • -familiar command allows the caster to change the look (skin) of their familiar once on every level. Please check the Familiar page for more details and images.
  • -familiar chat command can now be used to rename familiars. This is done by adding the parameter "name". Example: -familiar name NewName. To prevent typos, the command needs to be entered twice to confirm the desired name. Characters can change their familiar's name once every 15 RL days and after every level up.
Use: Selected, cooldown of 10 RL minutes, starting the moment the familiar is slain or dismissed.
Special: Any class that receives the familiar feature will add to the HD of the familiar. The familiar screen will show up for them while leveling up, but for those it is not granted automatically, they MUST take the feat to summon it.
