Fey
Note: The Fey race may only be selected by spending a Greater Award!
Introduction
The small fairy is known throughout Faerun for the tinkling sound of its wings in flight. These fey are generally good natured or at worst neutral towards travelers, but sometimes are known for their good natured pranks.
Legend claims that Sprites die only through injury or disease. (Sprites include Grigs, Nixies, and Pixies. Pixie is the closest to Arelith representation of Fey. )
Pixies are merry pranksters that love to lead travelers astray. They can, however, be roused to surprising ire when dealing with evil creatures.
These sprites love to trick misers our of their wealth. They do not covet treasures themselves, but use it to taunt and frustrate greedy folk. If a victim of pixie pranks exhibits no greed or demonstrates a good sense of humor, the tricksters may allow the individual to choose a reward from their hoard.
Pixies wear bright clothing, often including a cap and shoes with curled and pointed toes
A pixie stands about 2-1/2 feet tall and weights about 30 pounds.
Pixies in Forgotten Realm speak Sylvan and Common, and may know other languages as well. On Arelith they gain bonus animal language.
