Kenku speak Common just fine. They also speak Kenku (the language), however it doesn't exist in-game as of 08/20/2022.

Description

Kenku are a race of flightless avian humanoids. Selfish and secretive in nature, they are often engaged in plots to acquire wealth and power. Although they evolved from avians, kenku have arms in place of wings and bird-like talons for hands and feet, making them incapable of flight. They retain bird-like features, however, with black and beady eyes and a long dark-hued beak. Kenku are by habit secretive, self-seeking, and cunning creatures. They tend to adopt neutral or unaligned views and behaviors; the majority were opportunistic and unscrupulous, but true neutral and good kenku are not unheard of.

Kenku speak Common just fine. They also speak Kenku (the language). Kenku can mimic familiar sounds, voices, and accents, but that does not allow them to speak languages they don't know.

Note: Kenku of Arelith follow 3rd edition lore for language speaking. Only in later editions, specifically 5th edition, are they forced to use mimicry and are unable to speak common on their own. Kenku players should feel free to speak Common, Kenku, and other learned language as would anyone else.
