Arelith Changes
Change | Level | Description |
---|---|---|
Combat Mastery | - | Grants scaling Unarmed AB & Damage bonuses as well as Armed Damage for weapons within Weapon Focus. See the Monk#Combat_Mastery table below. |
Monk WIS AC bonus | - | Does not stack with Divine Shield AC. The higher of the two values is used. Read more about divine might & shield changes here. |
Monk level AC bonus | - | No longer gets +1 AC every 5 levels. The character sheet may still show the AC. |
Class skills | - | Spot, Perform and Ride added as class skills. |
Tongue of the Sun and Moon | - | Each Monk level counts as 2 Lore ranks when it comes to understanding languages you do not speak. Every 10 Monk level also gives you +1 more language you can learn. |
Monk Weapon Proficiency | - | Allows effective use of club, dagger, handaxe, light crossbow, heavy crossbow, naginata, quarterstaff, sai, shuriken, kama, katana, sling and wakizashi. This change adds naginata, sai, katana, and wakizashi. |
Monk UBAB Weapons Flurry of Blows |
- | The club, quarterstaff, naginata, kama, sai and shuriken benefit from the monk unarmed base attack bonus (UBAB) and can be used with Flurry of Blows. This change adds club, quarterstaff, naginata, sai and shuriken. [See https://nwn.fandom.com/wiki/Unarmed_base_attack_bonus for UBAB progression.] |
Ki Strike +4 | - | Wisdom requirement reduced to 16 and grants an additional +1 AB and +2 damage to Unarmed attacks. |
Ki Strike +5 | - | Wisdom requirement reduced to 16 and grants an additional +1 AB and +2 damage to Unarmed attacks for a total of +2 AB and +4 DMG when combined with Ki Strike +4. |
Improved Spell Resistance | - | Each Epic SR feat increases the cap of Diamond Soul (32) spell resistance by +2. |
Epic Bonus Feats | - | May choose Epic Dodge as an epic feat. Monks now receive Defensive Roll and so, as long as they meet the dexterity and tumble requirements, they can choose this feat. |
Weapon Focus: Unarmed | 2 | Gains feat - Weapon Focus: Unarmed. |
Monk Speed | 3 | Grants a +10% bonus to movement speed at lvls 3, 6, 9, 12, and 15, capping at +50%. This does not stack with haste movement speed or unlock the movement speed cap any longer. |
Wholeness of Body | 7 | 10 minute cool down. Heals damage = Monk lvl x WIS Mod. Removes debuffs per Restoration spell. |
Quivering Palm | 15 | Has unlimited uses per day but is on a 5 minute cooldown. |
Uncanny Dodge | 12 | Gains feat - Uncanny Dodge |
Diamond Soul | 12 | Spell Resistance of 10 + Monk lvls, capping at 32 SR. |
