A Cleric with Healing Domain is bound to the concept of convalescence and respite.
Domain Special Abilities
Passive Abilities
- Skill Bonus
- +3 Heal
- Overheal: The Cleric converts excess healing into temporary hit points. The hit point bonus is limited to 1 per Cleric, Harper Priest and Zhentarim Fear Speaker levels, and lasts for a period of three rounds. The duration is refreshed on further applications of Overheal.
- Regenerate refreshes and stacks the Overheal hit point bonus, while Monstrous Regeneration doesn't.
- Sympathetic Healing: Healing spells cast from the spellbook (NOT the Heal spell) which heals others also heals the caster for half the amount and applies Overheal.
Activation Abilities
- Able to Turn Undead. (See Turn Undead)
Spell Interactions
- Empower Healing1 - The following healing spells are cast as if with the empower spell feat:
Domain Spell List
- Cure Moderate Wounds(1)
- Cure Serious Wounds(2)
- Healing Circle(3)
- Monstrous Regeneration(4)
- Heal(5)
- Regeneration(6)
- Mass Heal(7)
- Regeneration(8)
Notes
- 1The stated spells are empowered whenever cast by a character with this domain, regardless of the source of the spell. Most notably, this includes drinking curative potions except heal potions.
- Clerics with the healing domain will notice that empowered versions of the cure spells will be double empowered except Heal.
- A Cleric with this domain who casts a maximized cure spell will have the spell effects maximized before this domain empowers them.
- Turn Undead has been extensively customized on Arelith. Read more here.
