Forging, also known as Smithing, Blacksmithing and many other names, is a type of Crafting available on Arelith. Forgers use resources to create a wide variety of products at an anvil or a forging workstation. These workstations can be found in most cities and settlements or can be created with Forging or Art crafting.
Forgers also create materials needed for most other types of crafting.

Repair kits repair items as a craftsperson would at a workstation. Each tradeskill can make separate repair kits which repair certain equipment:
- Tailoring Repair Kits are used for clothes
- Forging Repair Kits are used for armor and weapons
- Carpentry Repair Kits can repair polearms and shields.
Assembly Template can also be repaired with repair kits.

Thieves Tools
Seeing the option to make lockpicks requires a number of levels in one of the roguish classes. The levels stack with each other. +12 lockpicks can only be crafted by Rogues and Assassins.
- The classes are: Bard, Rogue, Shadowdancer, Assassin. Paths and subclasses do not qualify.
