Suffering Domain

A Cleric with Suffering Domain is bound to the concept of endurance and pain.

Domain Special Abilities

Bonus Abilities

• Overheal: The Cleric converts excess healing into temporary hit points. The hit point bonus is limited to 1 per Cleric, Harper Priest and Zhentarim Fear Speaker levels, and lasts for a period of three rounds. The duration is refreshed on further applications of Overheal.

• Regenerate refreshes and stacks the Overheal hit point bonus, while Monstrous Regeneration doesn't.

Activation Abilities

• Able to Turn Undead. (See Turn Undead)
• Able to Turn Elementals as if they were Undead. (See Turn Undead)

Spell Interactions

• Vampiric Inflict¹ - Casting the following inflict spells results in Vampiric Regeneration for 1/2 inflicted damage and also triggers Overheal for the Suffering Domain Cleric:

• Inflict Minor Wounds
• Inflict Light Wounds
• Inflict Moderate Wounds
• Inflict Serious Wounds
• Inflict Critical Wounds

Note: Harm is NOT Vampiric
