Type of feat: Cavalier Class
Automatically granted by: Cavalier 3
Required for: None
Specifics: Cavaliers are bonded with their horse and they can summon their personal steed if it isn’t already nearby.

The horse will have a 50 Temporary hit point bonus permanently applied to it.

Cooldown: 12 Minutes, but reduced by 1 minute for every Cavalier level. Summons different mounts based on summoning tier and armor worn. Levels of Knight and Cavalier stack to determine Horse Tier. Tier 1: Cav level 1-5. Tier 2: Cav level 6 to 8. Tier 3: Cav level 9+.

  • T1: As Summon Mount feat.
  • T2: Saddled Palfrey (No/Cloth armor), Leather Barding (Light armor), Chain Barding (Medium & Heavy armor).
  • T3: Saddled Palfrey (No/Cloth armor), Leather Barding (Light armor), Chain Barding (Medium Armor), Plated Charger (Heavy Armor).

The summon above will be replaced based on alignment, race and classes, as follows ordered from lower priority to higher priority:

Arcane Steed:

  • Arcane Casters (Wizards, Sorcerers, and Spellswords)
    • T2 or T3: Arcane Steed

Nightmare Mounts:

  • Race is Drow or if Evil alignment and at least one of the following class: Blackguard, Harbinger, Warlock, Wizard, Spellsword, Sorcerer, Cleric, and Favored Soul.
    • T2: Unsaddled Nightmare - For Wild Races (Wild Elf, Forest Gnome, Wild Dwarf).
    • T2: Saddled Nightmare
    • T3: Armored Nightmare

White Charger:

  • Good Alignment - Paladin, Champion, Knight, Cleric, and Favored Soul.
    • T2: White Chain Charger
    • T3: White Plated Charger

Wild Horse:

  • T2 or T3: Druids and Wild Races will always summon wild horses.
  • T2 or T3: and Ranger, Barbarian and Shaman: Wild horses, but if they have any of the aforementioned evil classes then they will summon a Nightmare.

Dreadsteed:

  • T2 or T3: Palemaster

Note: Some Arelith Custom races cannot ride.
