Arelith modified different effects that can occur to characters or NPC and also added new ones.

Confusion
Added effects can occur, like starting dancing.
Curses
Many curse effects where added, they can be found at Curses.
Fear/Frightened
Characters scared will run away with slower speed and sometimes fumble, falling into the ground.
Frightened
Fears that cause stat reduction lowers Attack, saving throws, Skills, AC, by Intensity of the effect, and Arcane Spell failure by 5*Intensity
Intensity value depends on effect that is causing the stat. For non player characters, this value is usually 10.
Mind immunity does not block this effect, fear immunity will block it.
Frozen
A Frozen creatures gain DR 10/-, 2d6 points of Dexterity damage, 50% Movement Reduction, vulnerability to fire, and immunity to cold and electricity.
Caused by Freeze spell.
Serene Visage
Character gains +4 bonus to all disguise checks.
Caused by Serene Visage spell.
Sickened
A curse effect. The character takes a -2 penalty on all attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks. Can only be removed by Remove Curse or until it expires.
Nightmare
A curse effect.
Nightmare prevents sleep and will give -2 STR & -2 DEX. Creatures currently sleeping/resting or under the Sleep spell will wake up if they are affected by Nightmare. Creatures immune to Sleep (E.g Elves) are not affected by Nightmare. Curse is permanent until removed by Remove Curse or Greater Restoration.
