There are horses distributed all around the served that can be used in conjunction with the Ride skill to gain a mobility bonus when on the surface.

Mechanical Information

  • Riders suffer from 10% Spell Failure unless they have the Mounted Combat feat.
  • The Mounted Combat feat adds +1 melee AB instead of the normal bonus.
  • It is impossible to ride in caves or indoors areas.
  • Riders do not gain Tumble AC while on horseback. Every 5 ranks will grant +1 AC, up to +6 at 30 ranks.
  • Lances may only be wielded when on horseback.
  • Characters that took the now-disabled Riding Reward have a 5 + Hit Dice Ride bonus.
  • Mounted Archery remains unmodified.
