The Printing Press, found in The Cordor Library and a select few other location, is used to copy books found in the module, or created by Player Characters.
To use the Printing Press, place a pot of Printing Ink, a Blank Book, a Printing Woodcut, and the book to be copied into the fixture, and close it. After an animation is played, the original book and its copy will be left in the fixture.
- Warning: If there is more than one book in the fixture, only one will be copied. It is best to ensure that all pages of the fixture's inventory are empty before beginning.
Any book found in the module can be copied. This includes Phrasebooks, spell books, and Notebooks. There are exceptions for magical books that cannot be copied. Examining the book will show if the book cannot be copied.
Player Submitted Books
Books written by players can be submitted to the Developers, to be added to Arelith's book matrix, which fills the various bookshelves found in the module.
To submit a book, send a private message to one of the Developers, via the Arelith Forums, with the title and text of the book, as well as probable locations where it should be found, if desired. Be aware that all books are reviewed by the Developers, and not all are guaranteed to be accepted.
