Line 1: Line 1:
The Shadow Weave, which originates from Shar, is a corrupting force of magic similar to the Weave, which originates from Mystra. Like Shar herself, the Shadow Weave is a force based upon nothingness, for while the Weave could be considered a loose latticework running throughout reality, the Shadow Weave is the pattern formed by the negative space in between.

Shadow Weave Casters
Arcane Casters using the Shadow Weave gain the following bonuses and maluses:
* +2 DC and CL to Enchantment, Illusion and Necromancy spells
* -6 DC and CL to Transmutation and Evocation spells

:: Note:: This bonus applies a single time regardless of the number of independent sources of Shadow Weave magic the character has.
::: Example: A Shadovar race Shadow Mage only receives a single bonus/malus
:: Note:: This bonus only applies to Arcane spells and will not affect Divine spells
